GyroSoul doesn't have a chip charge mechanic like the other two, instead you use a wind chip to get the propeller spinning. So for example, if you use an Attack +10, normally 20x8 chip becomes 30x8. Since Tornado is a multi hit chip, using attack modifiers like Colorpoint and Attack +10 increases it's damage per hit. But it takes quite a bit of support chips to really get going: AreaGrab, SeaSeed, ColorPoint/DoublePoint, Attack +10 and Attack +30 and most importantly, a wind element chip to use before Tornado (mostly AirShot). See, GyroSoul uses Tornado as it's main source of attack. GyroSoul is the most damaging doublesoul besides ProtoSoul. You can also use BlackBomb chip for a 500 damage nuke (210+40 and x2 from GrassSeed) or use chip charge (just like MagnetSoul but with Fire element chips) for a 820 dmg (but slightly inaccurate) tsarbomba. Napalmsoul adds +40 damage to fire chips that don't stop time (the ones that dim the screen like navi chips) so both FireHit1 (60) and Asteroid1 (60) become 100 damage chips that become 200 thanks to GrassSeed. You can simply throw a GrassSeed and start using FireHit1 and Asteroid1. If you combine it with MagnetSoul chip charge (press and hold A while holding an elec element chip for double damage on elec chips) and SeaSeed (sea panels double the power of elec element attacks) ElecReel (80 attack) hits for 320 or 640 (dunno which exactly) damage. ElecReel chip has a mechanic where, if you hit an enemy while he's beside and object, ElecReel first hits the enemy, then to the object and then back to the enemy again. If you want to utilize Double Soul, you can start looking for themed chips that will help you.įor MagnetSoul, You should go for ElecReel, SeaSeed and RockCube. When you are just starting out, these become very helpful. GunDelSol1 goes from 120 to 240, GunDelSol2 goes from 180 to 360 and GunDelSol3 goes from 240 to 480. One particular chip you can get at the earliest: GunDelSol chips double in power if you jack-in from Oran Isle or End City. Your biggest assets will be Tornado & GunDelSol3 for D code, ElecReel3 and Tornado for L code and myrad of other things for S code (mainly program advances and SP navi chips) Later on you can start leaning towards A code which is good during story mode with various strong chips (GunDelSol1, Vulcan2, Quake1, DrillArm1, Boomer, WideBlade, Asteroid1, CustomVolt1)ĭ L and S codes come online towards mid to late game. In my experience, A & K and J code is good at the start of the game. You can also sort them by chip codes to see which chips come in which codes. Speaking of codes, another user mentioned pack sorting. use this link for finding out what chips you can find in Green Mystery Data (those green diamond things in the net) for a wider palette of chips and chip codes. I've been playing Battle Network 5 for quite sometime, if there's anything you seek to know, I can help you.įor starters, I see you're playing on Team Protoman (MarkCannon K is Team Protoman exclusive) There are a few ways to go about it.
